Hans Joachim Klein (Dirk) close to the RAF & Bande à Baader in germany participated in 75 with the terrorist Carlos in the hostages taking in OPEC in Vienna. 2y later he left terrorism & will be on the run until 98. He is arrested & sentenced to 9y in prison. He died on nov9 22. I started to follow him at 74y old. I thought the fall of his life interrogates us about time passing & forgiveness. Through my pictures I seek to question our empathy towards a human being who has committed unforgivable acts. This series is an invitation to contemplate through Dirk a man at the twilight of his life.
