These photographs investigate the consequences to women’s reproductive rights with the Supreme Courts overturning of Roe vs Wade. Leading up to that decision, information about alternate methods for terminating a pregnancy surged across social media. Visually, I decided to explore these alternatives through the lens of classical Dutch still life paintings. This stylistic approach allowed me to present everyday items as a classic still life while telegraphing a disturbing message.
