Mouth Wide Open, is split into three distinct parts, (1) Birds prior, (2) Birds during and, (3) Birds after eating. The first image is that of a Great Blue Heron attempting to catch a Crawfish at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, Philadelphia PA, United States. Secondly, an American Kestrel is seen midway through their meal of a Garden Snake at Dixon Meadow Preserve, Lafayette Hill, PA, United States. The final bird observed in this short series is a close-up of a Red-winged Blackbird, again taken at Dixon Meadow Preserve. Unlike the previous images, there is no food present.
