This series images record the Earth God circumnavigation event on Lantern Festival in Taiwan's Shezi Island. In this borderlands, outdated streets are filled with intervening of time or space. Between tradition and modernity, between different roles, even between God and believers. What I want to record through the lens are the countless intertwined flows of this trapped Island, it struggles between pass and future. Every moment when the shutter is pressed, the people and land of this Island come into my camera, so the photographer and the subject also walk into each other's lives.
