What was once Europe’s largest yoghurt factory is now the campus of the Zurich University of the Arts. The campus integrates education, culture, and housing through a series of ramps, halls, squares and cascading staircase systems combined to form a complex configuration of inner spaces. The picture is part of the series “In the Eye of the Storm", in which I exploit the geometry of the urban environment. I use perspective and dimensions to create a sense of direction and depth. The symmetric composition conveys a sense of stillness and evokes the impression of being in the eye of the storm.
