Wearing body paint and bird feathers, the tribes join in ceremonial dances, combat and feasts to celebrate life, death and rebirth. They are under treat from climate change and agriculture. The preparation includes painting and food making. Food is carried to the family of the diseased in baskets by women. Men paraded across the plaza and into the long houses blowing flutes. The ritual builds to a climax with a martial arts competition between warriors, who first stomp around in a war-like dance before wrestling begins
