In the month of January, Hokkaido, Japan, the temperature was -13 degree Celsius. Snow fell all day, stood a lone tree in the snowy field. So white, bathed in coldness, yet a captivating sight. Then, the sky revealed a fleeting sunbeam, a brief moment that transformed the scene. I waited until the sun shines directly above the tree. It was a painful waiting in the coldness. At last, the sun shined right above the tree. In that wonderous moment, I saw with glee, the tree was no longer alone. Nature's magic united them both, tree and the shadow. It was a beautiful connection, a shared dream.
