Impending new lobster fishing regulations to the Maine fishing industry to protect endangered Right Whales are threatening the way of life of and livelihood of Maine lobsterfishermen and their families.If you are part of a lobster fishing family,most likely your parents,grandparents,great grandparents and great great grandparents were also lobstermen.You started out on the boat and gradually you learned the tools of the trade and became a lobster fishermen.I am photographing Maine lobster fishing families that might lose their livelihood & way of life and face an uncertain future.
