This series reimagines the feeling of awe I experience when diving. And the vast mysterious sea is my stage. In my images I utilize unique perspectives that highlight bioluminescence and surreal colors inspired by coral reefs and nudibranchs, in addition to envisioning how underwater species sense the world via ultraviolet and infrared sight. My impressionistic approach to a world that is widely unseen contemplates the mysteries of existence and what it means to be alive.
