This collection of photographs was taken in an urban village of Shenzhen. Urabn villages areas, which are difficult for the local government to manage, often have poor living and hygiene conditions. However, the faces of the residents - whether young or old - do not show signs of worry or sadness. Compared to the fast-paced concrete jungle outside, it seems that the people here have found balance and tranquility in their slower-paced way of life. I believe that in a world where too many people struggle for a living and fight for money, these peaceful images are worth documenting.
