Glistening in the morning sunshine, this glorious Round leaved Sundew fans out her beautiful tentacles waiting to capture her prey. A magnificent goddess, with her deadly trap. Insects are drawn to the sweet dewy tentacles, but once they land they are doomed. The tentacles close over her prey and enzymes dissolve the prey into a nutrient soup, replenishing the plant with much needed nutrients that the sterile peatland lacks. Killaun bog, Co.
