This photographic enquiry, shot entirely on film, has been a journey into another way of life; one that exists alongside, but separate from, my own. Through my images, I hope to shine a light on this shrinking world. This series celebrates the magic of the circus and the skill of the performers, and simultaneously the tight bonds of community that exist unseen outside the bright lights of the colourful tents. From 2022-23, my own campervan stood among their rolling homes, where I was privileged to join them in their nomadic lifestyle, as the circus toured my native Lancashire.
