My entry exhibits a new perspective of the seafront in Brighton, Sussex, exhibiting its latest asset, the newly opened 50m Sea Lanes swimming pool. (2 June 2023) The clear "Z" lines of the composition emphasise Brighton as a City with cutting edge, one that constantly reinvents itself, blending old with new. Here showing Brighton Beach with Palace Pier (1899) on the horizon and the Victorian Volk's Railway (1892) in the foreground. This capture of our cultural City, was what somewhat reminiscent, but a modern take on Seaside and Railway posters of the 1930 ~ A seafront for 2020s.
