On the 19th July 2022, the hottest ever day on record, when a record temperature of 40.3°C (104.5°F) was recorded and verified by the Met Office in England, photographer Andy Lo Pò, took a trip down to the beach in his adopted home town of Brighton and captured his own unique recording of how that day was celebrated by the city’s local populace, and that project became ‘Into The Sky’.
