Our neighbor purchased over 100 vintage Playboy magazines at a garage sale, and he thought it would be a fun prank to drop them off on our porch. That’s how we ended with three big boxes of Playboy magazines from the 60’s and 70’s. I asked my talented friend Mary @mistress_mary if she could design a dress with them. Vintage Playboy was so modern and liberating, and as a photographer I was inspired by the elegance on every photo featured; the ads were outstanding. I just wanted to play and create something fun and fresh while paying a small tribute to those good old liberating days.
