Australia, with its diverse ecosystems, is home to a rich tapestry of avian wonders, many of which are not found anywhere else on earth. Native flora serve as a vital backdrop to my Still Life compositions, not only providing essential habitats and sustenance for our native birdlife, but also contributing to the overall health and balance of our fragile biodiversity. Many of the species depicted are facing significant threats to their survival. Through subtle visual storytelling I aim to evoke a sense of urgency around conservation and stewardship.
