At first glance, irrigation circles seem like works of art. The perfect arrangement, symmetry and the different structures fascinated me from the beginning. It quickly becomes clear, however, that it is the enormous human intervention in nature that causes it. The problems of such irrigation are the salinization and flooding of soils and the depletion of groundwater supplies. Man appropriates nature without thinking about the future.
