This was shot during the catastrophic fires in California in 2018. They lit up the sky a deep dark orange. There was no wind, so the sea was reflective like glass. There was also an unusual amount of bird activity I can only attribute to the nearby fires. This is my buddy Jake, finding peace in the chaos.
