In Perù, the phenomenon of migration to coastal cities is constantly increasing. The marginal suburbs of the city are sandy and poor in water. Homes are often built with reclaimed materials like wood. Peruvians who migrate from rural areas settle on the outskirts of the cities, there is no real land subdivision and each family decides for itself the place where to build its own house. The land occupied is owned by the state, which is why these areas are called Invasions. Kelvin is Peruvian immigrant's son from the Sierra of Perù. He lives in Lima's invasions, studies music and plays clarinet.
