This peaceful yet lively scene immediately struck my eye in the tiny town of Moyogalpa on Ometepe island in Nicaragua. Walking back from a dinner in a small street side restaurant I passed the local church where an evening prayer was in full procession. The boy sleeping on the bench immediately caught my eye, as he stands (or better lays) in total contrast to the scene inside. While he was peacefully resting outside, on the inside singer and band are wholeheartedly chanting, playing and praying to the lord. Seeing him like that, I couldn’t but wonder, which other world he might be dreaming of.
