Parallel Universes of Children showcases 50 photo collages, spotlighting stark contrasts between privileged and oppressed children, addressing issues like hunger, poverty, child trafficking, labor, soldiers, displacement, healthcare, and education. Each artwork reflects a child's right per the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, paired with quotes and facts on children’s realities. Ugur Gallenkuş is renowned for his brutally honest photo collages, known as "Parallel Universes," which juxtapose powerful news images of worldwide photojournalists with scenes of peaceful lives
