La Muralla Roja, which means 'The Red Wall' in Spanish, is a postmodern apartment complex in Calpe, Spain built in 1973. It was designed by the late architect icon Ricardo Bofill. This series is a tribute to his fantastic work. My approach to creating architectural surfaces is through a visual language that resembles painterly abstraction. I achieve this by utilizing depth of field, contrast, and shadows. I draw inspiration from the clean and vivid clarity of modernist paintings and aim to transform photographs into compositions that are striking in their use of color, texture, and line.
