This wonderful collection of images impressively illustrates the humanity which take on such ventures. Bangladesh is one of a handful of countries where the world’s ships go to die. From tankers to cargo ships and cruise liners, the boats are run aground and broken up for scrap, often by hand. It’s one of the most dangerous recycling jobs there is. In the shipyard every worker is full of activity, no one have any time to talk. Constant work with flame, sound and dust may seem intolerable.
