The photographs in this book were taken in Canada, Iceland, and Norway, as well as in the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. They are part of my project ‘Northern Climate’ which aims to show the natural beauty of the spectacular Nordic and Alpine landscapes, but also to document the impact of our modern world on them. My hope is to help raise awareness of the fragility of these unique ecosystems, which are impacted the most by the climate crisis we are facing. The book has four chapters: trees, home, winter in the countryside and winter in the city.
