The series explores the reality of the Vietnamese ethnic village of Thuong Binh, where the implementation of a women's economic empowerment project carried out by CARE has changed people's lives. Project activities - such as women-led green tea production and women's micro-credit group meetings - and the daily context in which they take place are portrayed. The series title is inspired by the nickname of the Pa Then minority women, known as red phoenixes due to the color of their traditional clothes, and at the same time signifies the aspiration of every women's empowerment project: rebirth.
