Every year for the past 20 I have gone storm chasing at least 14 days per year. I have seen more than 75 tornadoes in my life, all from a safe distance of course. My interest in storms comes from my educational background in meteorology. Storm chasing rekindled my lifelong interest in photography. The two are strange bedfellows and photographing storms takes patience since the dynamic range of light, the lack of time to set up a tripod, not to mention trying to avoid danger challenges one’s skill.
