The transformation of the Kunstsilo art museum in Norway from an industrial silo complex to a cultural building is a remarkable example of adaptive reuse. Originally built for storing grain, the silos have been repurposed into exhibition spaces, preserving their raw, industrial aesthetic while meeting modern museum standards. Through my black-and-white photographs, I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and illustrate how historical structures can be revitalized and given new life while preserving their inherent character.
