This is one of my portraits of the serie adoption and refugee children. The Congolese girl radiates elegance as she stands in a beautiful gold dress. The dress is made of a shiny fabric that catches and reflects the light.

Biography

After 30 years working at a bank I decided to change my career. By chance I came into contact with a photographer and my interest was aroused. I have always had a fascination for different cultures and the paintings of the old masters. It was a great opportunity for me to combine this. Capturing people with all kinds of different backgrounds in an old master's image, which they would never have had because of their origin in the 17th century.
