Abu Dhabi has a gluttony of instantly recognizable architectural icons - Louvre Abu Dhabi, Etihad Towers, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to name just a few. But for me, the real ‘soul’ of the city lies more in the ‘everyday’. As an architect and photographer I’m surprised daily by some of the interesting architecture hiding in plain sight. So I decided to document some of my favorites through the medium of photography. I want to expose these buildings and their architectural quirks and nuances to a wider audience, whilst at the same time creating a historical record for future generations.
