Miriam Leuchter This series uses both its vivid colors and its mysterious iconography to create an intense portrait of grief that's both moving and intriguing.

White Knight is a personal project inspired by my father’s passing from a brain tumor, exploring themes of love, loss, and the transition between life and death. Created entirely with in-camera techniques—no Photoshop or post-editing—it uses lens masking, Vaseline on the lens, and a red lens filter to craft a dreamlike, otherworldly aesthetic. Red and blue tones symbolize life and death, while ghosting and light painting add layers of texture. The series is both a tribute to my father and an exploration of my own grief.
