The theme of Viewfinding can be summed up with 'the art of finding a new point of view'. It's a double entendre referencing the challenge we face as photographers to find new, unexplored perspectives and the process of finding hope and inspiration during times of adversity and lack. The stories in each chapter share my personal adventures running a non-profit organization for teens for over two decades, traveling internationally and finding new ideas in my own backyard. Each story is accompanied by a series of unique and diverse photographs that validate and compound the empowering lessons.
