Echoes of a Fading Land is a visual exploration of heritage, memory, and the bond between family and land. Set in Krokees village, Greece, it honors my father’s childhood home and its stories of survival, resilience, and renewal. Using the cyanotype technique, I preserve these memories, symbolizing the fading of time. The garden, a symbol of continuity in Greek culture, reflects the values passed through generations. This project, rooted in my father’s childhood home, bridges past and present, inviting reflection on heritage, family, and the enduring connection to the land.
