Wheel Chair reinterprets the readymade by combining a chair and a bicycle wheel without altering their forms or meanings. While traditional readymades erase original context to create sculptural novelty, this photographic work retains each object’s identity. The result is not a transformation but a perceptual proposition—shaped by framing and context. As a photograph, it reflects how we assign narrative and emotion to ordinary forms, revealing how meaning emerges through seeing. Preserving the objects invites emotional closeness and tension between function and metaphor, motion and stillness.
