This city has held the world's imagination for over a century: first through automotive innovation and the birth of mass production, then through decline and resurrection. Here are machines that manufacture objects we interact with daily—machines most people never witness. Standing draped in plastic—veiled—their utilitarian forms transformed into abstract sculptures. Shrouded in mystery, they evoke sacred relics more than industrial tools, revealing the hidden poetry in manufacturing's unseen rituals.
