Calmerchroma is a series of minimal architectural photographs taken at a time of personal turmoil. The series represents an anchor in the simplistic, the minimal, the vibrant and the poetic in a time of chaos, upheaval and uncertainty. In each image in the series, shadows, texture, form, light and shadow are at play creating often 'flat' images that still have a sense of depth due to the interplay of texture, form and colour. Philosophical abstraction, poetry and an attempt to ground this work in a form that represents an anchor in something simple, gentle and thought provoking.
