A Rapa das Bestas is an ancestral celebration held in Galicia (Spain) in which wild horses are brought down from the mountains, where they live freely, to be marked, dewormed, and have their manes trimmed. Amid dust and tension, a young woman confronts a horse body to body, clinging to its mane, her expression marked by intense effort, merging with the animal’s movement and strength in a scene that embodies tradition, resilience, and a deep connection with nature.
