Like the reindeer’s eyes shift from blue to gold, so do the images in this book, symbolizing the seasonal changes, the contrasts and the light in Arctic Europe. Differing paper cuts let you skip page spreads, showing only a golden realm, or one of blue tones, depending on the reading direction of this dual-cover book. Only a slower stroll reveals all pages, alternatingly warm and cold. This unique concept emphasizes the characteristic colors of the north, and provides multiple experiences, much like revisiting a landscape always brings something new.
