Patti O'Halloran I've told my friends about these images. The pull you can see between pain, comfort and fear. But how, on the safety of this rooftop, these women have freedom to let their hair fly loose, to hug and be hugged. Yet the incredible sadness of the distant city under fire, you can feel it. I feel it. I grieve and send a hug.
I spent all the days of the war on the rooftop. I want to hold Tehran in my arms and not let it be harmed. I wish all the leaders of the world would embrace each other so that there would be no war anywhere in the world.
