I grew up beside the Yangtze River in Wuhu, and the river has shaped my lifelong bond with this shore. From 2021 to 2023, over three years, I photographed the south bank of the Yangtze with an ALPA technical camera equipped with a Phase One digital back throughout all seasons. This 10-photo series adopts a restrained visual language, connecting tidal flat ecology, urban living spaces, anchored cargo vessels on misty winter river, ancient water transport relics, abandoned dock industrial structures and modern river-crossing bridges.
