This series was created entirely in-camera, without post-production effects. I used a prism filter to bend and reflect light while photographing the city at night. Streetlights, shop windows, and car headlights created unexpected shapes, colors, and layers within familiar scenes. By slightly changing the way the city is viewed, ordinary places can appear unfamiliar and dreamlike. These photographs are records of real light captured at the moment of exposure.
