I was able to travel to the island of Socotra, part of Yemen. The island is known as the Galapagos of the Indian Ocean because of its endemic plants and wildlife. I was able to photograph this blooming set of Bottle Trees one evening. The island really was like an alien world with these strange but beautiful trees.
