As the Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland fell silent, its cooling lava unexpectedly revealed the shape of a skull. Captured from directly above with a drone, this fleeting volcanic sculpture symbolizes the thin line between creation and destruction. A reminder that even in the aftermath of an eruption, nature continues to surprise with forms that exist only for a brief moment.
