Photographing NYC’s iconic Waldorf Astoria after its massive restoration was all about balancing its rich history with a modern luxury feel. Documenting everything from the grand lobby and lively restaurants to the public spaces and intimate guestrooms, I wanted to use warmth and natural light to make these grand spaces feel inviting and lived-in. The goal was to honor the landmark’s cultural scale while keeping the images soft, elegant, and effortless.
