Glass can protect, isolate, allow one to view, but never touch. Able to alter the sight or perspective of things; can even make one see more clearly, but could also hurt or kill, if it breaks.
An entire country has been behind glass for 50 controversial years and, at best, an uncertain future awaits behind the isolation.
