I have aphasia from a stroke, multiple autoimmune issues including diabetes and a brain tumor. The distorted reflections represent me. Some days it feels like I’m on a roller coaster ride, and some days I want to scream. Most days I get through by looking at the world differently. Everyday is a new day , you never know where the ride will take you. I hang on, stop and take notice of new worlds that exist in these reflections. Life is fun, I choose to address the hardship by not overlooking these fun house images.

Story

The Seattle Center study is a body of work that represents me as a sick disabled person. I have aphasia from a stroke, multiple autoimmune issues including diabetes and a brain tumor. The distorted reflections represent me. Some days it feels like I’m on a roller coaster ride, some days I want to scream, some days it looms over me like the Space Needle. Most days I get through by looking at the world differently. Everyday is a new day , you never know where the ride will take you. I hang on, stop and take notice of new worlds that exist in these reflections. Life is fun, I choose to address the hardship by not overlooking these fun house images.
