These two rocks in Japan, in combination with the rope, represent the torii, a symbol of Shinto, and play the role of a gate to receive gods. The torii means the place where the bird is located, and it's derived from the legend that the bird on the perch sang for the purpose of calling the sun goddness. In this photo, the legend is expressed by the rocks that represents the torii, and the bird on the rock, and the sun between the rocks. It emphasized the world of gods by making the sea like a cloud with slow shutter. Mt.Fuji which overlaps with the sun, is 200 km away, so it's rarely seen.
