Tara Pixley, PhD. Each of these photos are beautiful and visually compelling. As a story, I would love to see a bit more nuance to understand better what's happening in each image and how it fits with the larger story. But my desire to know more is indicative of the photo series' power. Stunning work.

This is the story of Albert Odar, a former poacher. For years he's been killing animals for a living to feed his 14 kids. But brave as he is, in 1996 he handed himself in and a spy was born. In the 25 years that followed he became one of the most valuable assets in the Ugandan war on poaching being singlehandedly responsible for catching 250 poachers. Friends from a violent past, enemies in his current life. Putting his life at danger every single day. A story about hope, courage and fear and a story that shows it’s never too late to change the course of your life and to choose for the planet.
