Ommatoiulus moreleti, commonly known as the Portuguese millipede, is a native of the southern Iberian Peninsula. They have spread to many other countries due to international trade. They mainly feed on leaf litter, decaying wood and fungus. While many see them as unwanted pests, even the most common of creatures are extraordinary when you take a closer look.
