My passion for these atmospheric phenomena began when I accidentally took a photo of an halo. I was amazed to see such beautiful thing in the sky. Therefore, I have continued to chase and photograph halos to this day. These atmospheric phenomena are caused by the refraction and reflection of sunlight on small ice crystals in cirrus and cirrostratus clouds. Most people do not notice this optical effect due to its high brightness. In addition to capturing the mysterious sky during the halo, this was the main reason for carrying out this series.
