Located at Celebes Sea, Sabah, Malaysia (Indo-pacific basin) Pulau Sipadan is a paradise for more than 400 endangered marine lives. Compared with the diversity of the Galápagos Islands and Turk of Micronesia. During mid 90s the health of the sanctuary had started deteriorating and only a concerted effort of Government and Non-Government organisations from 2004 could turn around this marine sanctuary and restored. Presently this is a global poster boy of marine conservation. I wanted to capture a portrait of the Island to showcase the conservation success story in a single frame.
